TRANSEUROPA Prelude
We have the pleasure to invite you to the TransEuropa 2026 ‘Reclaiming the Cloud(s)’ prelude event on the 16th of September from 19h at ETERON.
From 7-11 October 2026, Athens will host the latest edition of Transeuropa, the transnational artistic, cultural and political festival organised by European Alternatives since 2007. Each edition moves to a different European city and explores the political questions shaping our common future.
This year, Reclaiming the Cloud(s) asks a simple but urgent question: how do we reclaim the spaces that shape our lives online and offline and collectively take them back in the hands of citizens?
Across five days in Athens, the festival will bring together artists, activists, journalists, researchers, technologists and political voices to explore democracy, digital rights, migration, feminist organising, environmental commons and the future of technology connected by the shared themes of air, 🌬️clouds ☁️and the commons🌫️.
Before the festival itself, we want to bring everyone together for an evening where we can discover together the whole programme, collect exciting physical communications materials, start (literally) co-creating clouds, get to know each other and the team & volunteers, and enjoy a community evening.
19:00 Doors open
A creative cloud-building activity opens the evening.
19:30 Transeuropa 2026 programme reveal
