Part of the Democratic Odyssey
How do we make democracy not only accessible, but empowering?
The Deliberation Academy was a key pillar of the Democratic Odyssey, a transnational campaign for a Permanent People’s Assembly in Europe. Through digital and in-person training, civic arts, emotional support, and inclusive facilitation, the Academy prepared over 200 citizens across 26 countries to participate in deliberative democracy, many for the first time.
The Academy took place in Athens, Florence and Vienna, online and in person, with 203 participants from 26 countries including youth, migrants, women, and underrepresented groups.
