European Alternatives seeks journalists and editors for our website: volunteers and interns.

We are also recruiting journalism interns to write for our French and Italian websites
Cerchiamo tirocinanti a distanza di giornalismo per il nostro sito in italiano
Nous recherchons des staigiares à distance en journalisme aussi pour notre site web en français

The objective is to report on the debates taking place across Europe with particular attention to the European dimension of national realities and to issues affecting many Europeans despite national borders, for example: austerity measures and the financial crisis, attacks on the euro, education reform, student protests etc. …

Volunteer journalists will write one article per month about a current political/cultural issue in Europe, from a transeuropean perspective. The names of all volunteers will appear prominently on our website alongside their biographies.

Distance Internship in Journalism

Distance interns in journalism will write at least 3 articles per month about a current political/cultural issue in Europe, from a transeuropean perspective. The names of all interns will appear prominently on our website alongside their biographies.

Each intern will have a European Alternatives tutor who will provide them with editorial feedback on each article. Internships normally last for 3 months, but this is something we can be flexible about. European Alternatives will provide an internship agreement and a certificate at the end of the internship, which will include feedback on the work completed.

A distance internship in journalism provides the opportunity to build up a portfolio of published work. We ask that you send us a pitch (see below) for each article you would like to write. For further information write to info@euroalter.com
