WE ARE HIRING! Festival & FIERCE intern – spring 2025 | Paris | DL: 21/03
We are looking for an intern to join our Festival & FIERCE team.
European Alternatives is seeking an intern for our FIERCE project. The position can be either part-time or full-time, starting as soon as possible, ideally from March 31st.
We believe that internships should be a paid and enriching first step into the professional world. European Alternatives provides a positive learning environment for all interns and volunteers and supports the European Quality Charter on Internships.
Profile we are looking for
- Experience in event organization.
- Experience in the nonprofit sector is highly valued.
- Commitment to feminist values is essential, along with an understanding of intersectional feminism and activism against anti-gender/far-right movements.
- Fluency in French (mandatory) and English; additional languages are appreciated.
- Serious, committed, and proactive.
- Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong teamwork and adaptability skills (working in an intercultural environment).
- Initiative-driven mindset.
- Patience and flexibility.
- Availability during the festival weekend from June 5th to 8th.
Responsabilities
1. Assisting with the organization of the upcoming edition of the TRANSEUROPA festival
Theme: “Les Marges en Feu!” 🔥 (June 5-8, 2025)
Your tasks will vary depending on your skills and experience, but they may include:
- Liaising with speakers and artists
- Coordinating with venues
- Organizing materials and documents
- Managing volunteers
- Working within the care team
- Co-facilitating activities
- Proofreading documents and supporting communication
- Conducting research
2. Supporting our transnational feminist research and alliance-building project « FIERCE ».
- Assisting with the preparation of our final in-person event at the European Parliament in Brussels (June 24th)
- Helping organize our online meetings for the transnational feminist community
- Supporting report writing
