Between Land and Sea Festival 2025 — Palermo

November & December 2025

European Alternatives is proud to be a partner of the 6th edition of Between Land and Sea, the cultural and political festival produced by Fondazione Studio Rizoma in Palermo.

Rooted in the shared realities of the Mediterranean, Between Land and Sea brings together artists, researchers, and activists from diverse disciplines, from art to philosophy, from food to architecture, to collectively explore the relationships between territories, identities, and knowledge.

This year’s edition introduces a unifying theme: “Significato” (Meaning).
In a world marked by accelerating crises and fragmented language, the festival asks: What meanings are imposed upon us? Which ones do we reclaim? And what new meanings emerge at the intersections of bodies, stories, and places?
