Mapping below the radar activists

Today in London, European Alternatives Trustee Noel Hatch and researcher Maria Botello presented the findings of a year-long research project to map how below the radar organisations utilise crowdfunding platforms.

Botello and Hatch’s research is part of a larger Nesta commissioned publication entitled ‘Data for good: How big and open data can be used for the common good’ that examines how data-driven methods inform activism and civic engagement.
