Speak Out: Empowering Youth for Change

Closing Event

In a time marked by growing social and political challenges, young people are at the forefront of defending democracy and shaping more inclusive societies. Speak Out: Empowering Youth for Change is a project led by European Alternatives, in partnership with the Erasmus Student Network, designed to equip young people with the tools, skills, and networks needed to stand up against discrimination, prejudice, and misinformation.

Through a series of engaging activities, the project has supported young changemakers across Europe in developing their capacity to act locally and globally. Between February and March 2025, four interactive webinars brought together participants to explore key topics such as understanding and addressing discrimination, influencing policy processes, building strong communities, and designing effective advocacy campaigns. These sessions combined theoretical insights with practical tools, case studies, and collaborative learning.

The journey continued with in-person moments of exchange and learning, including trainings, conferences, and networking opportunities, strengthening connections among young people committed to social change.

To celebrate the achievements of this initiative and reflect on its impact, we are pleased to invite you to the Closing Event of Speak Out: Empowering Youth for Change, taking place in Palermo on April 27.

This final gathering will bring together participants, partners, and stakeholders to share experiences, highlight key outcomes, and continue building momentum for youth-led action across Europe. It will be a moment to connect, inspire, and look ahead to future opportunities for engagement and collaboration.
