Cromo Foundation was established in 2002 in order to contribute to the local and regional cooperation of non-governmental, business and governmental actors and thus strengthen a participatory, active and democratic society in Hungary and Europe. Cromo implements its projects in cross sectoral and international cooperation, collecting, adopting and disseminating experiences and novel solutions.
As a training, organization- and community development centre, Cromo contributes to programs as a training supplier or as a partner in projects supported by diverse donors. Cromo’s mission is to raise awareness and activate people to take ownership and be active citizens in their localities and countries. Cromo is an expert in community organizing, planning, implementing, disseminating, sharing and teaching community initiative techniques.
