It was a classic\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/17ASTOH\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@demos<\/a>\u00a0proposal &#8211; a blend of human-centred research and savvy buzzword generator. The elder statesman of think tanks,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/1dKwtTf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@thersaorg<\/a>\u00a0also looked to another touchpoint many of us share &#8211; the taxi driver &#8211; to help them\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/13ZXSMh\">change their behaviours<\/a>\u00a0when it came to fuel consumption as a way of saving money.<\/p>\n<p>At our\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.transeuropafestival.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Transeuropa Festival<\/a>, we put on a storytelling bus between Brixton Village and Brick Lane as part of our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/190680480971388\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">treasure hunt<\/a>, so that people could see the environments change before their eyes as they discovered the hidden stories of the neighbourhoods we passed through.<\/p>\n<p>With our work on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/152INcZ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Transnational Dialogues<\/a>, we held a research caravan to create conversations between artists from different cultures between Europe and China.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5aJK79QZy3c\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<div>Now,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/1439nTs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@futuremylove<\/a>\u00a0is showing a documentary where a taxi driver takes people around the city talking about why we might need a resource-based economy and what that might look like.\u00a0Taxi drivers are all meant to have the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/ZIxGPu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Knowledge<\/a>, so why not make it include social and economical issues?<\/p>\n<p>This year for our festival in London (12th-20th October), we&#8217;re organising an urban game by foot &#8230;and by bike which will be a different way of rediscovering the city!\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div>In the meantime, click on one of the tabs to get involved!<\/p>\n<div>Now,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/1439nTs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@futuremylove<\/a>\u00a0is showing a documentary where a taxi driver takes people around the city talking about why we might need a resource-based economy and what that might look like.\u00a0Taxi drivers are all meant to have the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/ZIxGPu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Knowledge<\/a>, so why not make it include social and economical issues?<\/p>\n<p>This year for our festival in London (12th-20th October), we&#8217;re organising an urban game by foot &#8230;and by bike which will be a different way of rediscovering the city!\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div>In the meantime, click on one of the tabs to get involved!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Future My Love &#8211; The Venus Project Taxi\u00a0from\u00a0Sonja Henrici\u00a0on\u00a0Vimeo.
