Our projects are carried out across Europe often in partnership with other organisations and our members in Europe and the rest of the world. The position will take place remotely with occasional travel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key projects which you will have the opportunity to be involved in are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>TACKLE<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General European Alternatives Communications including the EA journal, website, social media and visual identity renewal\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Movement Learning Catalyst &#8211; an educational project training social movement actors in transversal and cross-border organising<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transnational European Assemblies Project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WHAT WE OFFER<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the job training developing and implementing website, newsletter and social media schedules and content&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insight into branding and visual identity setting processes working with innovative cause-led agencies&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunity to contribute to our varied multimedia content including journal articles and web posts&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunities for travel and networking across civil society, activist and cultural organisations around Europe<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insight into the development and implementation of communications strategy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insight into planning and production of various multimedia outputs including promotional videos, documentaries, podcasts, journals and more<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insight into analytics and reporting&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Main tasks include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Creating and updating engaging content on website and social media platforms using creative communications skills, with guidance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing simple graphic designs on Canva, respecting the branding guidelines of the organisation and of our projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Simple video creation and editing for social media.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writing and sending newsletters to different audiences (Mailchimp management)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating presentations and reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attending key stakeholder meetings for learning and insight<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tasks can evolve depending on the opportunities that arise and the skills you would like to develop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">HOW TO APPLY?<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send us in one single document: a one-page CV and a one-page maximum motivation letter to <a href=\"mailto:info@euroalter.com\">info@euroalter.com<\/a> using the heading: Comms officer Fall 2024.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline for applications<\/strong>: We will consider applications on a rolling basis with a final deadline of 21 August 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interviews will be held in the last week of August. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU IF YOU:<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>are fluent in English (working proficiency)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>are comfortable using social media&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>are a strong team player and creative communicator who takes initiative and wants to bring in new ideas&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have a strong interest for engaging new and young audiences from diverse backgrounds&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>want to stand up against discriminations of all forms and share our belief of participative democracy, equality and culture across borders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a big plus if you:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Speak French and\/or Italian<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have some experience in one or more of the following areas: project management, event organisation, journalism, social media and website management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We are particularly committed to hiring people from racial and ethnic minorities, people from LGBTQI+ communities, people with disabilities and people who identify with disadvantaged economic classes.
