      Role and responsibilities\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

      European Alternatives is recruiting a Project Coordinator to manage its new project \u201cNext Time\u201d. Next Time aims at encouraging and facilitating the active engagement of European citizens & residents in the context of the next European Elections (Spring 2024) through:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Capacity building: the project coordinator will set an open call for participants and tailor a six-session training programme for those selected participants.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Multimedia citizens\u2019 engagement actions: you will accompany the selected participants into implementing their own actions such as citizens assemblies, workshops, a podcast series, artistic outputs\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Representing European Alternatives at external events\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Administrative and Financial oversight of the project, in collaboration with the Finance and Administration Manager<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Ensuring the visibility and dissemination of the project, with the support of our Communications Officer\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        The project will be implemented in at least the following 7 countries: Greece, Bulgaria, Sweden, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czechia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        Your profile\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n
          \n
        • Project management experience (2-3 years), preferably involving multiple partners\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Experience in working\/assisting on the implementation of EU-funded projects\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Proven interest in community-building and empowerment of disadvantaged\/marginalised groups\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Ideally, experience working in remote teams and maintaining strong working relationships with remote colleagues\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Experience working in Eastern Europe and in-depth knowledge of local context\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Strong organisational and administrative skills\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Capacity to travel regularly (25-30% of working time)\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Excellent command of spoken and written English\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          It is a plus if you have\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

          • Knowledge of civic engagement engagement sphere\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Competences in communication and social networks management\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Knowledge of other languages\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Working conditions\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

            Gross Salary depending <\/span>on place of residence, experience, number of hours between 25,000 Euros and 30,000 Euros for 20 to 28 hours\/week.<\/span><\/p>\n

            Contract: <\/span>3 or 4 days per week, corresponding annual leave and public holidays depending on place of work. The contract can be a national contract with EA Paris or a consultancy agreement depending on location.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

            Duration: <\/span>16 months, with possibility of extension.<\/span><\/p>\n

            Start Date: 3rd April<\/span><\/p>\n

            Location: EA team works transnationally and remotely. We do have physical offices in Paris and Brussels where you <\/span>could <\/span>work, but you can be based anywhere in the EU.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n
