We&#8217;ll use these to develop scenarios and a guide on how, through the process of coping with the crisis, young people are creating new ways of making a living.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of the <a href=\"http:\/\/slidesha.re\/UGuzG7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ways<\/a> you can get involved is by interviewing your friends, other young people or organisations working with young people. You can see an <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/1050mn8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">interview<\/a> of one our members carried out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>&#8220;It was time to do something with my abilities. It was an emotional urge to do something. And it was especially frustrating when I did not succeed for a whole year. That really makes you doubt yourself.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What should I do?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>You can use can email them a selection of the <a href=\"http:\/\/slidesha.re\/10zfVrb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Survey Questions<\/a> for an email interview<\/li>\n<li>You can meet them for an interview and record it on your phone or a voice recorder<\/li>\n<li>Explain the content of the debate will be published on <a href=\"www.euroalter.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.euroalter.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Ask them if they would like to get further involved in the Project or with European Alternatives<\/li>\n<li>Write up the interview and send it to <a href=\"mailto:london@euroalter.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">london@euroalter.com<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What should I interview them about?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can interview people on the following areas to understand this issue<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Young people&#8217;s basic living situation<\/li>\n<li>How young people feel they&#8217;ve achieved and what they expect of the future<\/li>\n<li>How they cope emotionally and practically with making a living<\/li>\n<li>What support they value<\/li>\n<li>How their work situation on your attitudes on society.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This will help us produce an analysis that can help us compare between cities to produce the scenarios &amp; guide. On the next slide are examples of how you can interview young people, do share other methods you want to use! Any questions ask Project Team at <a href=\"mailto:london@euroalter.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">london@euroalter.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What should I think about?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Concentrate on the answers from the interviewee<\/li>\n<li>If you feel they want to talk more about a question, ask them to tell you more<\/li>\n<li>Question anything you don\u2019t understand from the interviewee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>At the end of the interview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Ask them at the end if there is something you haven\u2019t asked they\u2019d like to share<\/li>\n<li>Thank them for participating, ask them for their email address so they can check the interview and find out how they can get more involved in the Project<\/li>\n<li>Advise them that their interview will be published on www.euroalter.com and may be featured in guide on how young people cope with precarity<\/li>\n<li>Advise them that their interview will be used to develop the personas &amp; scenarios<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>After the interview<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Concentrate on the answers from the interviewee<\/li>\n<li>Write down the answers in the Survey Questionnaire<\/li>\n<li>Send the interview to the Interviewee to check they are happy with it<\/li>\n<li>Send the interview to the <a href=\"mailto:london@euroalter.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Project Team<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>How else can I get involved?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Imagine a <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/138P4QK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">day in the life<\/a> of a young person in 2020, fill in in our <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/livingsurvey\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">survey<\/a> on how you&#8217;re coping with making a living.
