Labeled the silicon valley of Eastern Europe, Cluj has been in the process of of urban renewal with the creations of \u2018smart roads\u2019, \u2018smart buses\u2019, and \u2018smart villages\u2019. This has been at the cost of the eviction of many in social housing, disproportionately targeting roma communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this assembly we will discuss what it means to be a \u2018smart city\u2019, how we can transform the city into a public good, accessible to all, and how technology could serve this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
