Communications Intern 2026 | Paris\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are looking for a Communications intern to join our team!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>European Alternatives is looking for an intern that can work with us supporting our communications activities, learning how to work transnationally with a multidisciplinary team.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our projects are carried out across Europe often in partnership with other organisations and our members in Europe and the rest of the world.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-2-color\">6-month internship<\/mark><\/strong>, taking place in <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-2-color\">Paris<\/mark>, with occasional travel. Internships are usually open to students who are still registered students in an education institution. Ideally there will be the possibility to have an Internship Agreement signed with your University. (ie. signed by you, European Alternatives and your university).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The internship will be remunerated as an internship<a href=\"https:\/\/www.service-public.fr\/particuliers\/vosdroits\/F32131\"> according to French regulations<\/a> standards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key projects which you will have the opportunity to be involved in are:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>General European Alternatives Communications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/euroalter.com\/pactforequality\/\">Pact for Equality Campaign<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/euroalter.com\/projects\/peoples-assembly\/\">Peoples\u2019 Assemblies<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/transeuropafestival.eu\/\">Transeuropa Festival<\/a> (October 2026)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/euroalter.com\/journal\/\">EA Journal<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WHAT WE OFFER&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the job training developing and implementing website, newsletter and social media schedules and content&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunity to contribute to our varied multimedia content including journal articles and web posts&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunities for travel and networking across civil society, activist and cultural organisations around Europe&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insight into the development and implementation of communications strategy&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insight into planning and production of various multimedia outputs including promotional videos, documentaries, podcasts, journals and more&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Insight into analytics and reporting&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Main tasks include:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Social media content creation and calendaring (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Bluesky, Mastodon)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating and updating engaging content on website and social media platforms using creative communications skills, with guidance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developing graphic designs on InDesign, respecting the branding guidelines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writing, editing and translating texts to different audiences (Mailchimp management)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating presentations and reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting logistics tasks and internal communications tasks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working in team with comms officer, comms director and project managers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attending key stakeholder meetings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Tasks can evolve depending on the opportunities that arise and the skills you would like to develop&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>HOW TO APPLY?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Please send us in one single document: a one-page CV and a one-page maximum motivation letter to <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-2-color\">info@euroalter.com<\/mark> using the heading: <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-2-color\">Comms Intern 2026<\/mark><\/strong>.\u00a0<br><br><strong>Deadline for applications: <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-accent-2-color\">12 December<\/mark>.<\/strong><br>Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.<br><strong>We will contact shortlisted candidates before the end of the year.<\/strong><br><strong>Interviews will be held during the first two weeks of January.<\/strong><br>The internship will <strong>start immediately afterwards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU IF YOU<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>are fluent in French and English (working proficiency: writing, reading, speaking)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>are comfortable using social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Bluesky, Mastodon) and have basic graphic and video editing skills, especially for creating engaging TikTok content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>are a strong team player and creative communicator who takes initiative and wants to bring in new ideas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>have a strong interest in engaging new and young audiences from diverse backgrounds<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>want to stand up against all forms of discrimination and share our belief in participatory democracy, equality, and cross-border culture<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We are particularly committed to hiring people from racial and ethnic minorities, people from LGBTQI+ communities, people with disabilities and people who identify with disadvantaged economic classes.
