She or he will need to show experience in working internationally and project management\u00a0and administration, ambition and vision to develop the organisation and spread its activities\u00a0throughout the region.<\/p>\n<p> The post will require regular travel to attend meetings of our organisation throughout Europe.<\/p>\n<p> The main responsibilities of the head of office will include:<\/p>\n<p> &#8211; Working with local groups throughout Romania to develop a strong and highly active\u00a0network of members of European Alternatives<br \/> &#8211; Overseeing and managing the operations of European Alternatives in the Cluj office,\u00a0including project management, overseeing administration<br \/> &#8211; Defining and implementing, in dialogue with the board of European Alternatives, a strategic\u00a0plan for the development of the organisation throughout Romania and East and South\u00a0Eastern Europe<br \/> &#8211; Managing staff and volunteers<br \/> &#8211; Fundraising and relations with funders and partners.<\/p>\n<p> The candidate will show<\/p>\n<p> &#8211; Experience in project management<br \/> &#8211; International experience working in the NGO field<br \/> &#8211; Fluency in English and Romanian, further languages an advantage.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Deadline for applications: <\/strong>8th February<\/p>\n<p> Anticipated start date: February 20th<\/p>\n<p> Salary: based on experience and in line with Romanian average, circa &euro; 1,200 &#8211; &euro;1,600 pm gross<\/p>\n<p> To apply send a cover letter and CV to info@euroalter.com<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job vacancy: Head of office, Cluj Napoca European Alternatives is recruiting a head of office for our growing office in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
