Born Swedish-Australian and educated in Cambridge and Stockholm, her work spans youth participation, the arts, and democratic resilience across Europe and its neighbourhoods. <\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:more -->\n            <div class=\"wp-block-wpblox-showmore\" style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;padding-top:0;padding-bottom:0\">\n                <p class=\"wp-block-wpblox-showmore__button has-icon\"><a href=\"#post-30481\"><i class=\"icon-plus-minus\"><\/i><\/a><\/p>\n                <div id=\"post-30481\" class=\"wp-block-wpblox-showmore__content\">\n                    \n<!-- \/wp:more -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>She has supported independent journalism both as a practitioner and as a connector, writing on human rights, freedom of information, and the politics of migration, while building cross-border networks that allow independent newsrooms to grow their reach across the continent. Her published research argues that civil society, journalism, and activism survive best as an interdependent, sustainable ecosystem of resistance and youth participation. <\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>She has coordinated international cross-border youth programmes convening voices from build resilience against the climate crisis, polarisation and sustainable peace-building. Originally from Puerto Rico, Camila\u2019s background informs her passion for participatory democracy, youth civic initiatives, and the role of culture in democratic engagement. She holds a degree in Computer Science as well as a Master\u2019s in Commercial Business Law. She has worked with organisations dedicated to artistic and civic education, as well as to the inclusion of migrants in Paris. Her work has engaged with initiatives addressing anti-Muslim racism in Europe and the social and political conditions of the North African diaspora in France.
